Home Owners with Oil Heat

Massachusetts has a new law to address oil leaks from home heating systems (Chapter 453 of the Acts of 2008). Insurance companies must now offer coverage to pay for the clean-up of leaks from an oil heating system.

To be eligible for coverage, home owners must ensure that their heating system is in compliance with new regulations. This may require the installation of a special valve or sleeve in the storage tank/burner assembly.

Receive additional details about the new law and regulations by calling our office today at 800.660.7401.

Windstorm Deductibles

As insurers have become more aware of the potential costs of windstorm losses in certain parts of Massachusetts, many insurance companies have implemented mandatory wind loss deductibles.

It is important that you understand how a percentage wind deductible applies to a loss you may incur.

Contact an account manager today to learn more about windstorm deductibles before quoting or renewing your current policy.
