 The Lapointe Insurance Agency is sponsoring the Spirit of Somerset's Kayak Race this year. This annual event celebrates the spirit residents share with the town and offers them the opportunity to demonstrate their strength as a community. Agency Principles Bill Lapointe and Colette McKeon both grew up in Somerset, attended Somerset High School and are proud to be sponsors of this year's Kayak Race.

Paula Levasseur, former Program Manager for the South Coast Insurance Program, has joined the Marketing Team at The Lapointe Insurance Agency as an Account Executive. 
She is a licensed Property and Casualty Producer in the State of Massachusetts and brings a wealth of experience to her new position.
Joining Fall River’s ONLY Five Star and Best Practices agency, Paula plans to focus on developing new Commercial and Personal Accounts, especially local businesses with complex Insurance and Risk Management needs.

Karen Martin, CIC the Manager of the Commercial Lines Department at Lapointe Insurance has recently earned the Certified Insurance Counselor Designation. To earn this prestigious designation, Karen successfully completed five courses covering Personal Insurance, Commercial Property Insurance, Commercial Liability Insurance, Agency Management and Life and Health Insurance and passed five comprehensive examinations.
To maintain the designation Karen must commit to 25 hours of continuing education each year.Karen is a 16 year veteran of the insurance industry with her past 14 years serving clients of Lapointe Insurance.
Lapointe Insurance believes the insurance profession is best served by those who acquire and maintain a high standard of professionalism by meeting the continuing education requirements of the Certified Insurance Counselor program.
Karen resides in Westport with her husband Dino and daughter Caitlyn.

Lapointe Insurance is pleased to announce that Suzette Moniz has been promoted to Vice President of Operations.Suzette began her career with Lapointe Insurance in 1995 as a service assistant in our Westport office.
She has held numerous positions in both our personal and commercial lines departments and most recently held the position of Automation Administrator.
In her new role Suzette will be responsible for operations at all four of the Lapointe Insurance offices.
She is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University and resides in Westport with her husband Mark Moniz and children Siena and Cameron.
